I think there is something that’s similar for the Digg one. Basically if the referrer contains “Digg” then it changes the template for a bland one (or whatever you want. I’d probably put Adsense and referral links everywhere!).

But I’d love to combine my Wordpress with Flickr!

Good post!

I’ll have to look around for that plugin :). Thanks for the comment!

Binny :). These are plugin ideas. I’m hoping someone can actually make them.

There are a few options for #3:
Top Commentators:

Popularity Contest:

Are two that I know of right off the top of my head.

Kevin,
I didn’t know about the popularity contest one. Thanks!

There’s nothing “stupid” about your list at all. When you say what you’d like to see, we all benefit!

When I said that I was thinking of what a programmer would say :). I’m working on a browser game with some friends, and every time I bring a new idea to the table, I do it without thinking if its actually possible. The programmers get headaches every single time when I think of something cool to add to the game.

Great list! I know there is a plugin called Throttle that will measure your server load and strip images out of posts, implement a new theme, or redirect to coral cache when your server starts to slow down, but I like your digg watch idea.

Also, I’d love to see an automated changing of themes based on the time of year. I know of one blog (Modern Life) that does this and I think it is very very cool.

Great submission for the ProBlogger Group Writing Project. I think this is what I like best about projects like this, discovering all the blogs you might not ever visit otherwise. If you are interested here is a link to my submission, Top 5 Sins. It isn’t what you think :) but take a look you might like it.

Thanks and hope to see you in future group writing projects!
