Fujitsu announced today the U Series Ultra Mobile PC, the world’s smallest in its class, with only a 5.6″ widescreen LCD, 580gr in weight and 26.5mm thick.

The U Series are intended to be used mainly by business users. The advanced communications and security features are there to help users work where they want. It uses the Intel Ultra Mobile Platform 2007 and Windows Vista as an operating system. The battery time is 8 hours and it comes with fingerprint scanner and a security chip to prevent theft.
