The thing about this Phlat Ball XT Glow FX (who chooses these names anyway?), is that it can be thrown as frisbee disk, and it transforms while in flight into a ball. This is done by compressing the ball into a disk, throwing it, and after a set amount of time it goes back to the ball shape.

Ok, cool I guess, but usefull in any way? Meh. Another thing here. I’m not exactly a physics buff, but wouldn’t the change of shape while in flight modify its trajectory and make it fall sooner? Bigger and less aerodynamic shape, loosing speed faster I would imagine. Not even practical.
