Finally, Blizzard announced in South Korea that Starcraft 2 will be an RTS. Fans worldwide can finally sleep through the night without the nightmares of playing a Zerg in a MMO. Starcraft 2 will largely be based on the first game, with the same three races in the game, Terran, Protoss and Zerg. We’ll see Starcraft 2 running on a 3D graphics engine, new units for all the three races, and new abilities for the old units.
The release date for Starcraft 2 wasn’t announced yet, and who knows how many years it will be until it comes out. But hey, at least we know it’s being made.
