Whenever I travel I’m taking my PDA with GPS around with me. Yes, I’m one of those guys that would rather get lost then stop and ask for directions. Which is pretty difficult anyway when you’re in a foreign country and you don’t know the language. Well, this Merian Scout personal navigation device sounds way better then what my PDA can offer me.
The Merian Scout has a 3.7″ LCD touchscreen display with VGA resolution, it uses maps provided by Navteq, which bring you travel information which includes data on over 800 hotels and restaurants, complete with photos of those building so you can find them easier.
Looks pretty good to me, but my question is, is this only for the US? I hope it comes to Europe sooner rather then later.
