“Galactic Suite” is the first project of a hotel in space and will be launched in 2012. The Space Hotel offers a three day journey far from mother Earth at a cost of 4 million dollars. The tourists will travel around the world in 80 minutes, and will admire the sun rise 15 times a day. The hotel will have three rooms and will be in the form of a molecule.

Xavier Claramunt, the manager of this project, said that the tourists will participate in some scientific experiments. He also said that in the world are around 40.000 people that will want to have a space experience in the “Galactic Suite”. The 4 million dollars cost include the 3 day space journey and 8 weeks of hard training in a “spatial camp” on a tropic island.
