HP has announced recently the new Elite Autofocus Webcam that can take pictures using its 12 megapixels capacity. This is the only webcam with a 3 megapixels video count available on the market. When you buy it, you will also receive a stapler-like stand but if you don’t like it, you can always clip it onto your monitor.
Elite Focus Webcam is compatible with Windows Live Messenger, AIM, Yahoo Messenger and Skype and has stereo microphone, USB 2.0 and also a privacy cover. When you think about recording at 3 megapixels you must know that you will get only 5-6 FPS in that mode. In order to benefit from 30FPS you must use the VGA resolution.
