Western Digital brought us a new external hard drive, available in two versions, one of 1TB and the other of 2TB. Some of the features include FireWire 400/800, eSATA, USB 2.0, RAID 0 or 1, Mac support (can be reformatted for PCs).
On the dark side of things, Western Digital My Book Studio Edition II is rather pricy: $399 and $599 for the 1TB and 2TB models, which is $200 to $300 more than what you would normally pay for similarly-sized drives. Connectivity is worth it, if that is what you are looking for.
