It seems that Terrafugia’s outlandish airplane / motorcar hybrid will hit the road or even better… the skies sometimes this July. This "roadable aircraft" was designed by a team of ten dreamers. To drive and fly this, you must pass the safety regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, that is if you live in the United States. If the stars are right for the makers of this car-plane, the first customer to have one will be in 2009 and mass production could start sometime close to 2012, but it seems it will take more than the stars to be aligned for these things to happen.
