When it was first announced, the Gigabyte M700 was known to include a 1.2 GHz VIA processor, 7-inch touchscreen display (1024×600 resolution), 1GB RAM (2GB maximum), 40/60GB hard drive, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, front and rear web cams, and dual ExpressCard slots with Wi-Max support.
Now, M700 is a mobile entertainment center that will include a digital TV tuner with IPTV support in its base station. You can now stream TV content over a network by simply connecting a TV source to the base station. A SD card slot, IR port, and an optional optical drive will all have their place on the docking station. M700 will run on Windows Vista Home Premium and will be powered by a three hour battery life.
It will be available in the stores starting this summer and the price remains to be established.
