Industrial Computing has just announced the dust- and drop-proof Guardian Model 135 PDA. This device fully complies with MIL-STD-810F and IP67 standards. That means it will work perfectly even in hard environments including temperatures between -4 and 140 deg. F.
It runs on a Marvell PXA270 processor clocked at 624MHz and it has 128MB of RAM and 128MB of flash, 3.5″ display available in either QVGA (320 x 240) or VGA (640 x 480) versions, numeric keypad, directional keys, triggers for optional scanner, WLAN: 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 1.2, 2 USB ports, RS232, microphone jack, headphone output, pass-through connector for cradle, SD memory card slot and PCMCIA Type II slot. It is powered by a 1900mAH Li-ion battery.
At the moment there are no information available about the price or the release date.
