The RV770-based 4800 series from ATI will be officially introduced on the market on 25^th of June. Hot Hardware already benchmarked the Radeon HD 4850 ($199). Conclusion is that this graphic card is nothing special and features a few average options.

The price/quality report is pretty decent considering the GTX 9800 and this card can be a viable adversary for the 3870 X2 and Nvidia’s GTX 260. It is probably the best option if you’re looking for a mid-range ATI card for your PC unless you don’t want to wait for the 9800 GTX+.
