HP has released these days its line-up of Puma-based laptops and tablets running on AMD platform. These new Compaq laptops: 15.4-inch Compaq 6735b and 14.1-inch 6535b are especially designed for business users.

Each of them feature AMD Turion X2, X2 Ultra or Athlon X2 processors, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, support for up to 8GB of, a max 160GB HDD and an optional second hard drive in place of the DVD burner. You will find WSXGA+ available on the 15.4-inch model and WXGA+ on the 14.1-inch Compaq.

If you like them, you should know that the base configuration of each of them is only $779.
