Rumor these days is that NVIDIA will cut the price of the GeForce GTX 260 and GTX 280 cards. According to some NVIDIA board partners, GeForce GTX 280 will cost only $499 now but it seams that the final price will be somewhere between $299 and $339. This strategy was developed so that the GTX 280 will compete with the Radeon HD 4870.

As soon as we find out more details we’ll keep you posted. Meanwhile, you must be patient and wait for one or two weeks. In the end you will probably be thankful that you saved some money.
