Whenever you’re thinking about ramen, batteries, tiny chips and now… invisible tightropes, the first thing that crosses your mind should be nanotubes. They made every dream possible and you should know that.
A man called Nicola Pugno from the Polytechnic of Turin in Italy made an incredible discovery. He managed to support the entire human body using only invisible nanotubes 5 micrometers apart. This „system” measures 1 centimeter in diameter and weigh just 10 milligrams per kilometer and could be the next best thing in the architecture. Until then… our applause for the inventor.
