The Suunto Company is well-known for their wristop computers and now they’ve hit the market with the Suunto X10.
This small GPS device is very elegant and lightweight and can be used to record routes and waypoints and transfer them afterwards to your PC thanks to Suunto Track Exporter PC software. It is compatible with TOPO, National Geographic, Google Earth and many other digital mapping services.
Once you’ve chosen a pre-planned route, X10 will show you the direction, the remaining distance to the next waypoint and the estimated time of arrival.
The device features a barometer, a thermometer, an altimer, a digital compass and a standard time/stopwatch function. Starting this September, the Suunto X10 will be available in two colors with a battery that lasts for 33% longer than the X9i.
