In the last three months the Internet was filled with several rumors about the future low prices that Microsoft will announce for Xbox.

September 5^th is this special day. Starting now you can pay only $199 for the Arcade, $299 for the Pro (the new 60 GB model) and $399 for the Elite console. That being said, it’s official, the Xbox 360 is the cheapest console on the market.

Unfortunately the people living in Europe and Australia won’t benefit from this offer right away because there are still a few details to be established. For now the above mentioned prices are available only in North America.
