Back in 2007 the Linux-based H9 UMPC was surprising everyone with its spec list and features. Now, it’s time for its follower, the Porient H12 to hit the stores.
This later boasts with a 4.8-inch 800 x 480 resolution display, 2GB of flash storage, a 520MHz Intel XScale PXA270 CPU, GPS, 802.11b/g WiFi, an SD / MMC card slot and DAB / DVB-H / DVB-T tuners. It is a very light device weighting only 10.6-ounces and offers a multimedia player, RSS reader, web browser, PDF viewer and an undisclosed office suite.
The Porient H12 can now be bought in vast quantities but for now we cannot provide information on the retail price tag.
