Panasonic is getting ready to release on the market this November the Toughbook 8 notebook series.
The line-up includes the F8 ($2,499), W8 ($2,099) and T8 ($2,099) models. All three models have magnesium alloy chasing and chassis and hide under the hood Intel Core 2 Duo processors and flexible internal connectors. Both LCDs and HDDs are shock mounted while the keyboard is spill-resistant.
Now, the Panasonic Toughbook 8 series boast with 802.11 a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi connectivity, Gobi 3G technology and Bluetooth 2.0. The F8 has a 14.1-inch wide display and an internal optical drive next to a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, up to 4GB of RAM, built-in DVD multi drive, 160 GB of storage space, TPM security while running on Windows Vista.
The W8 features all the above except for a 12.1-inch LCD and a 1.20 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor.
Last but not least, the T8 sports an ergonomic rubber hand strap and a Display Image Rotation software.
