Dell is making progresses with its new LCD product line. Now they’re getting ready to hit the stores with their new S1909WX and S1709X LCDs, both using the 16:10 aspect ratio and featuring a detachable stand.
The 19-inch S1909WX boasts with a 1000:1 contrast ratio while its little brother, the 17-inch S1709W has only 600:1.
The former offers a 300cd/m2 brightness with a HDCP-supporting DVI input for video and 5 Milliseconds Response Time while the latter is an environment friendly LCD that has only a 250cd/m2 brightness, an option to add a multimedia sound bar and 8 Milliseconds Response Time.
Both LCDs are available on the official Dell website for $179 the Dell S1709W and $199 the S1909WX.
