Two screens mobile phones have been around for quite some time and there’s nothing new about them. (for example: the LG Voyager).

Time has come for Samsung to change the standards a little announcing its new line-up of dual 2.2 inch screen cellular phones: the SCH-W570 and SPH-W5700.

Why this change? Because they want to get rid of that old OLED on front. Thanks to this new external face, the users will be able to watch videos, check their e-mails, and browse the phone’s menu. On the down side, this will cost you the battery’s lifetime but that’s the price you’ll have to pay for coolness.

Both phones have a clamshell design, are 3G compatible and feature a 3-megapixel camera.

For now we have no official information on pricing and release date but we’ll keep you posted.
