Any 3D display requires a special set of glasses and until now, no manufacturer could manage to make it possible.

The display needed a geek’s touch and now it became real… 72-inch real and wears the signatures of Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) and Victor Company of Japan Ltd.

This special 3D display is now present at CEATEC Japan 2008 and boasts with full HD resolution at 1,920 x 1,080.

If everything works according to plan this display will be ready for mass production in 2011.
