The newest member of the Inspiron Mini family is here. According to Dell, the Mini 12 weights only 2.72-pounds and comes running on a 1.3GHz Atom Z520 or 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 12-in display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, up to 80GB of storage space and Bluetooth / WiFi.
It uses Windows Vista Home Edition and for $600 you’ll be receiving the standard machine with a 3-cell battery or a 6-cell battery for an extra $79.
The Inspiron Mini 12 will be available only in Japan for now but starting next month it will also hit the US soil.
