At the Netbook World Summit in Paris the new gOS “Cloud” has just been unveiled. This quick boot Linux variant will work only on new Gigabyte touchscreen netbooks and will come preinstalled next to Windows.
The Cloud offers a web browser interface and a built-in dock comprising YouTube, Skupe and every single Google application. If that’s simply not enough you can very easily switch to Windows and carry on with your work.
Also, you should know that this gOS can be installed on a flash chip, on a hard drive or on a SSD as a dual-boot partition. Unfortunately, for further more information we’ll have to wait for the January CES.
