The last refresh Elgato made to its EyeTV Hybrid was made a year ago and now time has come for them to submit their baby for a new facelift procedure.

The new Cear-QAM 1080i-tuning USB stick was especially developed for Mac users and brings in a FM radio tuner and a better reception.

For only $150 this dongle offers a year-long subscription to TV Guide but once this period is over you’ll have to pay $20 per year to keep this service active.

You can buy this new hardware right now but you should know that the EyeTV 3.1 will only be available later this month.
