At CES ViewSonic surprised gamers worldwide when they unveiled a very attractive 3D couple: the VX2265WM desktop LCD monitor and the PJD6220-3D lightweight portable projector. Ok, the glasses were mandatory but you can forget about red and blue ones because ViewSonic has a new crush on NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision glasses.
Together with a special light emitter, these glasses create the 3D effect. One more thing for you to know is that they charge via USB and will last for up to 50 hours of use.
The VX2265WM LCD monitor features 120Hz, a 1680 x 1050 HD resolution, uses SRS WOW HD sound technology and is Windows Vista certified. On the other side, the PJD6220-3D is the for 3D projector especially made for home use and boasts with a 120Hz frame rate, 1024 x 768 resolution, 2200 lumens output, integrated 10W audio system and 2000:1 contrast ratio.
In a few weeks the VX2265wm will be available in stores for $399 while the PJD6220-3D will arrive in February wearing a $1,499 price tag.
