Lowrance is a famous name when it comes to marine electronics and GPS navigational systems. These days they announced on the market a new trio of innovative touch-screen GPS devices: the Sierra, Safari and Outback that offer open community content compatibility and pre-loaded and aftermarket map content.
The former is the most powerful GPS device available on the market, the second is perfect for both high seas sailing and other outdoor activities while the latter offers the best standard features low money can buy.
All devices comprise a decent range of preloaded maps (extensive outdoor trail networks and Points of Interest, Intermap’s Accuterra mapping, Fishing Hot Spots) and a microSDHC card slot for up to 32GB of storage space.
Lowrance will release this GPS series in May for the following prices: $549.99 – the Sierra, $384.99 – the Safari and $229.99 – the Outback.
