Sharp has released on the market kicking and screaming a new netbook with a special trackpad/ LCD – the Mebius PC-NJ70A. This trackpad can also dub as a secondary display and its 4-inch size offers an 854 x 485 resolution.
The LCD trackpad can be used as a calculator, a paint program, a piano keyboard and even as a bowling game.
The machine offers a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 160GB of storage space, 1GB of RAM, WiFi capability, 3 USB ports, a multicard reader and a 10.1–inch main screen. As you can see this is a viable competitor for the new glass touchscreen enabled MacBook from Apple.
There’s no info on pricing and release date but according to some rumors the price won’t exceed $817.
