Samsung has revealed the full details for the WB1000 modal. The exterior is quite eye-catching and impressive.
This camera has a 12.2 megapixel sensor, very capable of shooting up to ISO 3200 (3.2-megapixel mode) and even 720p video, using the camera’s built-in optical stabilizer.
The lenses are wide, measuring 24mm-120mm film equivalent focal lengths. The aperture has a good f2.8 at minimum zoom.
On the back, there is also an OLED screen of 3.0-inch hVGA+ (that’s 480×360). On its top there are some analog gauges, for measuring the battery charge and SD space.
The price is not that high, under $380. This new Samsung camera will start shipping on June 18th.
