It seems that the people at Olympus can’t stop innovating. Just as we were getting used to the last product launched, they come back saying that they add to the FE range the FE-5020 (5x super wide optical zoom), FE-4000 (4x wide optical zoom), and also the FE-26 (3x optical zoom). One of the differences between these products is of course the size of the lens but apart from that, the cameras are quite the same. They all have 2.7-inch displays, 12 megapixel CCDs, advanced face tracking, intelligent auto mode, and also microSD compatibility. Besides that, the FE-5020 and FE-4000 have “Magic Filter” functionality. And it is also worth mentioning a new model added to the mju line: mju 7010 sports a 7x optical zoom. It has pretty much all the features of the FE-4000. It is said that the new products will be in stores sometime in August. For now, there is no price specified for the new FE cameras, but the mju will sell for £249 (around $400).
