BenQ just announced the release of G922HDL which is the first 18.5-inch widescreen LED backlight LCD display. G922HDL is just one of the two models in the new LED-backlight G series. G920WL is the name of the second one, of 19 inches. BenQ G922HDL has a 1366×768 WXGA resolution while the G920WL has 1440×900 16:10. The contrast on both is a ratio of 5 million:1 and they come with the Eco Mode. Both displays boasts Senseye 3 Human Vision Technology, which offers one-touch optimization of image richness and clarity. The panel is 100% mercury-free and the LED backlight technology allows less power consumption. There is no news on the price.
