Toshiba has just launched the first Blu-ray player called the BDX2000, after the failure of the HD DVD. This new BD player is a BD-Live (Profile 2.0) compatible Blu-ray player. It offers 1080p/24fps Full HD video output and thegrat thing about the BD-Live support is that users will benefit form the interactive features using the Ethernet connection. The player will support AVCHD playback using SD memory cards and Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio audio format. REGZA-LINK function is also a feature and this means that when the driver is connected to a REGZA LCD TV you will be able to see Full HD content with a single remote control. The device will be on the market in November and the price will be $249.99.
