A new tablet is on its way from manufacturer NorhTec who is planning the InfoPad tablet, which is a mobile internet device that uses AA batteries, like the company’s Gecko EduBook. This tablet runs on Linux and it will be powered up by a XCore86 1.GHz processor and gets a 8.9-inch touchscreen display. There is no news on the price yet but it will be available in stores before holidays for sure.
