Active Media Products (AMP) has just announced the release of the Aviator 312 series USB 3.0 SuperSpeed external SSD storage devices. It uses the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface that supports impressive transfer speeds up to 4.8Gbits/s. This device is available in 16GB (N16G-A312), 32GB (N32G-A312) and 64GB (N64G-A312) capacities. It is also based on the MLC NAND Flash memory and offers up to 160MB/s write speed and 240MB/s read speed. The price for the Active Media Aviator 312 is $89 for 16GB, $119 for 32GB and $209 for 64GB.
