In the race towards smaller and faster, A-DATA releases the new S596 and they claim it is the fastest SSD in the industry. The S596 is available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities. This 2.5-inch S586 provides up to 250MB/s read and 180MB/s write speeds and comes with DDR2 RAM cache memory. A-DATA says the SSD provides a great boot-up time at 20 seconds on platforms running Windows 7, plus a steady a 40% performance improvement compared to platform equipped with ordinary SSD.
