Panasonic is releasing the new and shinny VW-BN2 portable DVD writer. The tool is designed to connect directly to your AVCHD camcorder using the USB port. It doesn’t need a PC and you are easily able to burn your videos to a DVD. This cool device is able to burn DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW and DVD-RAM at up to 6x. Other supported formats are: DVD+R/+R DL/+RW and CD-R/RW but only when you connect the utility to a PC. The BN2 has 2MB buffer memory and you will be able to take it starting this Christmas. No news on the price yet.
