AT&T and Pantech is releasing the new Impact mobile phone, in US only, for now. They have previously announced this release in October. This mobile phone supports 3G and gets a full HTML browser. This side-flip Impact has a haptic touchpad and a small screen outside. Once you open the phone you will see the QWERTY keyboard and a larger color display. You also have support for A-GPS and AT&T Navigator service for voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions in real time. The handset costs $99.99 if you get a 2 year contract.
