Samsung is trying to throw more than the basics on their cameras and they continue to surprise us. The brand new Samsung ST5500 camera, that recently cleared the FCC, is a small camera with no more than 14.2 megapixels. It also features a great 7x optical zoom, besides 14.2 megapixels, ISO settings up to ISO 3200, a max 1/2000 shutter speed, and support for 720p video at 30 fps for good measure. Plus, it has a big 3.5-inch touchscreen and built-in 802.11 b/g WiFi (in the small compact package) and it can do a great job. There is no news on the price yet but it will appear soon.
