Everybody is waiting for the Apple tablet. But besides that, Notion Ink has announced that Adam, an Android-based tablet PC, will be in stores in June 2010 for about $325. The most exciting thing is that the machine is the first to offer support for the new 10.1-inch Pixel Qi display. The Pixel Qi technology can perform like a standard LCD display, allowing ambient light to illuminate the screen, and an e-paper mode. The latter resembles a black-and-white e-reader and is meant to be used under bright environments. It also consumes less power than conventional panels.
