Toshiba is presenting the new Viamo laptop ultrasound system. They call is the “industry’s no-compromise ultrasound system, that has advanced radiology capabilities.” Basically the tool combines a laptop system with radiology features in order to create a portable ultrasound examination system. You can best-in-class imaging capabilities for radiology, vascular, emergency, bariatric and OB/GYN exams. The color flow is comparable to those of larger, more expensive cart-based systems. It is also very easy to use due to the touch-screen interface programmable in panel or tablet modes.
