Panasonic says their new Toughbook H1 Field is the most rugged handheld tablet in the world. They say the tablet meets IP65 and MIL-STD-810G , with a six foot drop rating, offering the durability expected of Toughbook mobile computers. The tablet works even in the most harsh conditions and has an Intel Atom 1.86GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and reinforced flex-connect 64GB SSD. It features a nice 10.4-inch dual-touch display with 500 nits brightness, circular polarizeranti-glare and anti-reflective screen treatments. The tablet offers support for WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth. There also optional SmartCard, RFID, and barcode readers, fingerprint reader, camera, GPS and Qualcomm’s new Gobi2000 EVDO/HSPA technology. The batteries gives you 6 hours of work, uses Windows 7 and will be released in March 2010, the H1 Field is priced at $3379.
