The latest rumors say that the Core i5 580 processor will be launched by Intel later this year, probably in the fall.
With it, the clock speed will grow to 2.66GHz from 2.53GHz, though the power will remain the same, at 35W. The Turbo Boost will also be scaled higher, from 3.06GHz to around 3.33GHz. At the same time, the graphics core will be boosted to 766MHz, from 500MHz.
