After releasing Defender for iPad, the OtterBox launches the Defender Series for the newest iPhone 4 (model APL2-I4XXX-20-C4OTR). Just as the iPad version, the Defender case will protect the iPhone 4, using 3 layers. The first layer is made of a polycarbonate shell made of hi-impact, shatter-resistant material is installed. Built into the shell is a clear Multi-Touch display screen cover as well as a clear cover for the Apple logo cutout on the backside. And there is also a silicone skin that wraps around and locks into the shell resulting in a unified, nearly indestructible solution durable silicone skin layer.
