The pricing for the XOOM tablet from Motorola has been announced and thankfully it will not go over the barrier of $1,000. Still, you can’t exactly consider the XOOM a cheap tablet that you buy under an impulse. The price for the tablet is $799 for the model that comes with 3G, Android 3.0 and 32GB of storage. The XOOM will come with the Verizon 3G data plan. The interesting bit of information is that the connection will be upgraded to a 4G in the future.
If you want something cheaper, you can give up the 3G option and go with the version with just WiFi, which costs $600.
