The second Desire phone from HTC, the S model, was announced at the 2011 Mobile World Congress just a couple of days ago and now it can be pre-ordered at Amazon.co.uk for 419.99 GBP (~$680) with the announcement that it will ship on April 18th, 2011.
The HTC Desire S comes with Android installed on it, G-Sensor, recording at 720p, a 5MP camera and a 3.7” touch screen that has a resolution of 480×800. It also has a second camera which can be used for video calls. One thing I like about it is that it can sync with Google Reader, something very useful for a maniac of RSS feeds like I am.
