T-Mobile announced the release of two new LG high end Android models to the market and they are the G-Slate tablet and the G2X smartphone. Both devices come with support for the 4G HSPA+ network from T-Mobile.
The specs of the LG G2X phone are a 4 inch display with WVGA resolution, a Tegra 2 dual core CPU from NVIDIA, 512MB RAM, built-in storage of 8GB which can be expanded via microSD, HDMI output and two cameras of 8MP (autofocus, Full HD video recording and LED flash) and 1.3MP. The OS is Android 2.2 right now but an upgrade to 2.3 is expected soon. The price is $149.99 at Amazon.com if you get a new 2 year contract. ![]()
As for the LG G-Slate tablet, it has a 8.9 inch screen and it’s the first Android model with 3D capturing dual camera. It has Android 3.0 on it and a Tegra 2 dual core CPU from NVIDIA. The two cameras on it are a 5MP and a 2MP model, it has 32GB of flash storage built-in and HDMI. 3D playback is done with the help of 3D glasses which are included. The price is $529 if you get a 2 year contract, or $749 without any contracts attached.
