The second 4G LTE phone we talk about for today, the Samsung Droid Charge was announced officially by Verizon. It appeared at CES 2011 this year, but now it is officially announced. You can see a photo of the device below and the specs are here as well.
The Samsung Droid Charge comes with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, a processor at 1GHz, 4G LTE capabilities for the Verizon network, two cameras (8MP in the rear with LED flash on it & 1.3MP in the front), Adobe Flash and Android 2.2 as its OS. The Droid Charge can be used as a Mobile Hotspot, which means you can share your Internet connection via WiFi with up to 10 other devices if you’re using the 4G network, or up to 5 devices if you’re on 3G.
The 4G capabilities of the Samsung Droid Charge don’t come cheap though, as you will have to pay $300 for it, while getting a 2 year contract at the same time. The phone will be released by Verizon on April 28th and we’ll let you know when that happens.
