The Torqx 2 series of SSDs were introduced by Patriot Memory and the company’s statements say that this model combines 3x-nm high performance NAND Flash memory with a new SSD controller. The sizes in which it’s available are 256GB, 128GB, 64GB and 32GB. The maximum reading speed is 270MB/s and the maximum writing speed is 230MB/s.
The Torqx 2 SSD is a 2.5 inch model that comes with the 3Gbps SATA 2 interface and it’s designed to work well with Windows 7 thanks to the TRIM command technology. [DailyTech]
