The Aspire One D270 netbook is expected in January, with a price of $280 and with the latest Cedar Trail processor inside.

The fact that Acer was going to be in the frontline when it comes to launching netbooks which use the new processor from Intel called Atom Cedar Trail was known for some time now, but a couple of retailers have already began putting up product pages. A couple of them from Europe have put up pages for the netbook Acer Aspire One D270, which appears to be a 10.1 inch model, with batteries of 3 or 6 cells, a dual core Intel Atom N2600 1.6 GHz processor and Windows 7 Starter as the OS. The D270 also appears to have a hard drive of 320GB and 1GB of RAM.

The same thing seems to be happening in the US and the D270 will probably show up in January 2012, with a price tag of $280.
