Acer Aspire One D270 Coming Soon With Cedar Trail Chip

The fact that Acer was going to be in the frontline when it comes to launching netbooks which use the new processor from Intel called Atom Cedar Trail was known for some time now, but a couple of retailers have already began putting up product pages. A couple of them from Europe have put up pages for the netbook Acer Aspire One D270, which appears to be a 10.1 inch model, with batteries of 3 or 6 cells, a dual core Intel Atom N2600 1.6 GHz processor and Windows 7 Starter as the OS. The D270 also appears to have a hard drive of 320GB and 1GB of RAM.

The same thing seems to be happening in the US and the D270 will probably show up in January 2012, with a price tag of $280. [Source]

Gigabyte P2532N 15.6-inch Multimedia Notebook

The Gigabyte P2532N is a multimedia notebook with a 15.6 inch screen that is now available on Amazon.com for $1,385. The P2532N comes with the Core i7-2630QM CPU, which uses the Intel Turbo Boost technology. The display of the laptop has a resolution of 1920×1080 and it’s LED backlit. As for the graphics card, it’s the GeForce GT550M which has 2GB of RAM on it and the Optimus technology. The other specs of the Gigabyte P2532N are a 7200 RPM hard drive of 750GB and 8GB of RAM.

Kouziro Frontier ND 15.6-Inch Notebook

The ND is a new 15.6 inch laptop from Kouziro Frontier, which comes with a Core i3-2330M processor at 2.2 GHz. The screen has a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 and the ND also comes with the Intel HM65 Express chipset, 2GB of RAM, Intel HD3000 integrated graphics, a hard drive with 320GB capacity, a DVD, WiFi and the OS is Windows 7 64 bit. DreamBook Power P18 Gaming Laptop

Pioneer Computers has launched a new gaming laptop and its name is DreamBook Power P18. The price of this model goes from $1,800 and up to $7,000, depending on its configuration.

The specs show off that it’s a gaming model, since it has a Intel Core i7-2920XM quad core processor, 12GB of RAM, three hard drives of 1TB each (or three SSDs with a total of 256GB). The laptops graphics have either one or two cards, which are GeForce GTX 560M and they have 1.5GB of RAM each.

The screen of the DreamBook Power P18 is a 18.4 inch display which has a Full HD resolution. The audio area has a 2W subwoofer, three 2W speakers and two 1.5W speakers. Asus Eee PC 1015PX

Asus Eee PC 1015PX comes with the Atom N570 processor from Intel, the first netbook from Asus to have it installed. This notebook was now released in the US.

The Asus Eee PC 1015PX’s processor runs at 1.66GHz, it has a 10.1 inch screen and a resolution of 1024×600, 1GB of RAM, a HDD with 250GB and the OS is Windows 7 Starter. There are two different models here, the 1015PX-MU17 which has a 48W/h battery which should last for up to 10 hours and the 1015PX-PU17, which has a battery of 56W/h, giving the user a maximum of 11 hours of use.

Asus Eee PC 1015PX comes with a webcam of 0.3MP, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi N, LAN, VGA, Bluetooth 3.0, a card reader and 3 USB 2.0 ports. The weight of the notebook is 2.76 pounds.

Samsung Series 4 400B2Bs Netbooks

The Series 4 400B2Bs is the latest netbook that is business oriented from Samsung and it was just uncovered by Notebook Italia. It’s a 12.5 inch model with a chassis that is made out of aluminum, able to resist shocks when dropped from up to a 72cm height, or pressure of 500g.

As for the specs, the Samsung Series 4 400B2Bs comes with a i3-2310M processor, 500GB HDD, 4GB of RAM, Intel GMA HD integrated graphics and a resolution of 1366×768. The rest of the specs include Bluetooth, WiFi, a battery with 6 cells and the ability to add optionals like i5 or i7 processors, 3G and SSDs.

The latest bad boy in the Alienware line-up of gaming laptops has arrived and it’s the Alienware M18X, an 18.4 inch gaming laptop with Full HD resolution that must be a pain to carry but a pleasure to play on. You can install one of the available dual GPU configurations on it, you can have a Core i7 Extreme Quad Core CPU with a maximum of 4GHz speed and a maximum of 32GB of RAM (but 32GB will add $2,000 to the price tag).

The Alienware M18x costs $1,999 if you’re satisfied with just the base model, but the dollars will add up quickly as you configure it.

MSI GT680 Notebook

The GT680 is a notebook from MSI which uses the 2nd generation of the Sandy Bridge architecture. It’s display is a 15.6 inch LCD and it comes with a subwoofer and two speakers which offer surround sound.

The MSI GT680 comes with the Intel Core i7-2630QM processor at 2GHz, a maximum of 16GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX460M graphics card from NVIDIA with 1.5GB of RAM on it and a choice between a combo of 120GB SSD and 500GB HDD or two hard drives of 500GB with RAID 0.

Other specs for the MSI GT680 are the webcam which films at 720p quality, a DVD burner, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi. The notebook comes with two USB 3.0 ports, eSATA and HDMI output.
