Verizon and UTStarcom joined hands and released on the market “Blitz” smartphone (officially named TXT8010). This smartphone is a handset designed especially for tweens.

The Blitz features a QWERTY keyboard, a 1.3 megapixel camera, VCAST music, Bluetooth and a microSD slot.

The producer released no information on the measurements of this device but considering how small a child’s hand is I think the Blitz is very tiny.

That being said, you can get your Blitz right now because it’s available in stores with a 2-year contract and a price tag of $70.

Not a day passes without a new gadget entering the market. Very soon a regular PC won’t be able to face them all and that’s why it’s very important if some devices can be connected directly without needing an intermediary.

That’s why Brando developed a USB + eSATA to SATA adapter that will allow you to virtually connect a SATA device using only a USB/eSATA port. This is great especially for backup or data transfer.

The adaptor will work perfectly with any SATA device between DVDs and 3.5” hard drives.

If you think you can use it you can place your order starting now for $33.

Dell’s new Vostro A860 and A840 hit strongly the market (except for US) with some interesting looks and great prices.

In addition to all this, the A860 has a 15.6-inch display with a HD resolution while the smaller A840 (14.1-inch) has WXGA written all over.

The machines feature 160 GB or 120 GB storage space, 1 GB of RAM, WiFi, CD/DVD burners, Bluetooth and from Celeron to Core 2 Duo you can chose any processor you like and that’s pretty cool.

The most impressive thing about them is that you’re not forced to use Windows Vista anymore. They can run on Ubuntu!
